Food waste is an illustration series for posters depicting problems of food consumption and waste that we are facing in the modern age.
First Illustration in the series interprets wastefulness of the restaurant industry throwing out leftovers at the end of the day versus struggles of securing meals that homeless people might face.
Second Illustration addresses over-buying of groceries, that leads to spoiled and wasted food. Image of a shopping cart is split in half, one side abundantly full, the other moderately filled with produce.
Last Illustration reminds consumers of costs associated with food production. It stemmed from the fact that a production of a single burger consumes roughly the same amount of water that you would use in a 90 minute shower.
