Pictograms
I created four pictograms to indicate a wetland, a viewpoint, a challenging path and a climbing area. Their design was part of a college project in information design.
I made the decision to create pictograms which steer from the classic outlines or shapes in one colour - therefore I tried to incorporate colours harmonious with the anticipated surroundings. I also choose to incorporate higher level of details, while still preserving the primary goal of clear and fast recognition of signalisation.
